Steve Barnett is a multiple Grammy® and Gramophone award-winning record producer with over 150 internationally-distributed CDs to his credit. For 25 years he was music producer for Saint Paul Sunday®, Minnesota Public Radio's Peabody award-winning classical performance program, producing many of world's best-known musical artists for broadcast nationally and internationally. Steve has been Creative Director of Barnett Music Productions since 1981.

He was Music Director/Arranger/Conductor for Garrison Keillor's A Prairie Home Companion®, and for public radio's nationally broadcast variety programs, Good Evening and First House on the Right.

His compositions and arrangements have been performed and recorded by major orchestras and vocal ensembles in the United States, Europe, and Asia, and his music was selected for inclusion in the Milken Archive of American Jewish Music on the Naxos label.

Steve graduated from the University of Minnesota in composition and theory, also studied jazz composition and arranging at the Eastman School of Music, and is a charter member of the American Composers Forum.
